30 Minutes or Less Movie 2011

30 Minutes or Less was actually funnier than I thought it would be. I expected laughs and raunchy humor, just for the cast alone. But, I enjoyed this film, it knew what it was trying to be and succeeded!

Every scene had something to laugh at with even a clever reference to a pop... read moreular social network. Eisenberg was good, even if his approach seemed like it was pulled from Zombieland. McBride was good, even though I just see Kenny Powers standing there. Swardson played the underling very well and Ansari was his fast talking high pitched self.

30 Minutes is, yes, another movie in the outrageous comedy trend in Hollywood right now. But I think it passes expectations, that others have failed to top recently.

30 Minutes or Less is probably the most original movie ever. You will not find comedy and action like this.

Dwayne, a guy who hates his dad yet is waiting for his inheritance, is tired of his dad and plans to pay an assassin to kill his dad to get his millions of dollars of inheritance. He plans with Travis, his friend, to get 100 grand to pay an assassin, Chango. Dwayne, thinking "like a millionaire", instead of getting the money himself, he forces Nick, who delivered a pizza to his junkyard, to rob a bank by strapping a bomb on him giving him 10 hours to get Dwayne and Travis's money.

Three words: Funny as HELL.

One of the best comedies I've watched. It will keep you laughing out loud every single minute. Jesse Eisenberg did a damn good job acting in the movie, he fitted the part of a scared normal guy very well. But, my favorites in this movie were Nick Swardson, Danny McBride, and Aziz Ansari. These three will make you LAUGH a lot. I haven't seen Swardson pull of a tremendous comedy act since The Benchwarmers.

Script-wise, excellent. I question the ratings a lot. Why would the riticsa rate it so low? Don't listen to them, this movie is comedy gold.
